Lucid seeks a System Validation Engineer to validate next-generation electric vehicle access control systems, including Digital Key, NFC, BLE, diagnostics, and OTA updates across vehicle and mobile platforms. The role involves end-to-end feature validation, defect analysis, root cause investigation, and test automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

  • Perform system and vehicle-level validation of Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA, and Passive Entry features
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for access control functionality
  • Lead defect triage, debugging, and root cause analysis across hardware, software, mobile, and cloud services
  • Validate UDS diagnostics services (ISO 14229), DTC behavior, and ECU communication
  • Analyze NFC, BLE, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet communication logs to identify issues
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python and CAPL for regression testing
