About this role
SpaceX seeks a Full Stack Engineer to develop mission-critical software powering launch operations, Starship production, and Starlink infrastructure. You'll own end-to-end software solutions that directly enable the company's space exploration and satellite internet goals, working collaboratively on systems handling data streams, manufacturing workflows, and customer-facing platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop reliable, production-grade software solutions used across SpaceX operations
- Create new applications that improve launch vehicle production and flight efficiency
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Own complete software engineering lifecycle from design through deployment
- Analyze user problems deeply to design and implement efficient solutions
- Participate in architectural decisions, design reviews, and code reviews with the team

- Full stack development (backend and frontend)
- Object-oriented programming (Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java)
- Single-page application development (Angular, React, or similar)
- Database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Docker and Kubernetes containerization

- Message streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
- Linux/UNIX systems and infrastructure tools (Terraform, Ansible)
