Build Engineer

About this role

Mach Industries is looking for a Build Engineer to facilitate the development of autonomous defense platforms. This hands-on role involves transforming designs into manufacturable products while collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

What you'll do

• Lead prototype builds across various products
• Translate design intent into clear build processes
• Debug manufacturability issues with design engineers
• Contribute to design reviews for manufacturability
• Document lessons learned to improve processes
• Coordinate sourcing for quick-turn parts and tooling

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
• 1+ years in production or process engineering
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes
• Ability to work closely with technicians
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to adapt in ambiguous situations
