Mach Industries is seeking a Composites Design Engineer to play a crucial role in designing and testing composite structures for autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing lightweight, high-performance airframe solutions while ensuring production scalability.

What you'll do

• Design and develop composite structures for UAVs.
• Oversee composite components throughout the development cycle.
• Conduct structural analysis using hand calculations and FEA.
• Collaborate with manufacturing for hardware translation and validation.
• Engage in hands-on fabrication of prototype composite hardware.
• Assist in structural test planning and execution.

What they're looking for

• 7+ years in composite structures design/building
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
• Proficiency in NX or similar CAD tools
• FEA experience with tools like ANSYS
• Knowledge of laminate design and composite analysis
• Hands-on experience with composite manufacturing processes
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools
