About this role
Mach Industries seeks a December 2026 new graduate software engineer to develop mission-critical software for autonomous defense platforms. You'll work across embedded systems, real-time applications, and autonomy stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance systems in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain software for autonomous defense platforms with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested code in C++, Rust, Python, or C across embedded to application layers
- Integrate software with complex electromechanical systems alongside GNC, embedded, and hardware engineers
- Optimize software for real-time execution and resource-constrained embedded platforms
- Build simulation, testing, and CI/CD infrastructure to validate system performance and accelerate development
- Debug hardware-software integration issues and contribute to software architecture decisions
