About this role
Mariana Minerals seeks an entry-level metallurgical engineer to support pilot-scale testing and process development for innovative mining technologies, including bioleaching columns. You'll operate equipment, design experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with R&D and software teams to advance critical mineral supply chain solutions.
What you'll do
- Operate, troubleshoot, and optimize leaching columns and pilot-scale processing equipment
- Design and execute pilot-scale experiments under senior engineer guidance
- Develop process documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, procedures, and mass balances
- Analyze experimental and operational data to identify process improvements
- Support development of automated monitoring and optimization tools with software teams
- Ensure safe operations through EHS compliance, hazard assessments, and change management
