Power Engineer

About this role

MatX is seeking an experienced Power Engineer to join their Hardware System team, responsible for designing and validating power architecture for AI data center products. The role involves optimizing power efficiency and collaborating with various teams to ensure high-performance power delivery systems.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power solutions
• Develop power specifications and management strategies
• Implement voltage regulator designs as per specifications
• Validate regulator designs and ensure stable power delivery
• Ensure compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical guidance for integration processes

What they're looking for

• 10-15 years in power design
• Experience with high-power architecture
• Proficiency in modeling tools like Simplis, HSPICE
• CAD skills in schematic entry and layout (Allegro)
• Lab validation and debugging expertise
• Strong communication skills
• Team collaboration
• Knowledge of data center power delivery (a plus)
