DevOps Engineer (2 PM - 11 PM)
About this role
MEMX is hiring a Linux Platform Engineer to design and maintain enterprise infrastructure supporting production systems across on-premises and cloud environments. Working a 2 PM–11 PM ET shift, you'll focus on automation, monitoring, and operational excellence while collaborating with development and security teams on global initiatives.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure for MEMX platforms
- Monitor and maintain scalable solutions running on-premises and cloud infrastructure
- Debug build systems and improve build performance through metrics and analysis
- Monitor system capacity, performance, and scaling; perform root cause analysis on incidents
- Work with information security to identify and mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities
- Plan, install, test, and maintain infrastructure across the organization

- Linux and Linux internals
- Python and shell scripting
- Distributed systems and network architecture
- DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, Splunk, Netbox, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Unix command line and system troubleshooting
- CI/CD and automated testing practices
- Low-latency systems experience
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
