About this role
Safeguard MeridianLink's AWS serverless infrastructure and sensitive data by developing security controls, automating threat detection, and responding to incidents. This remote Security Engineer role combines hands-on AWS security management with process automation and compliance oversight for financial technology systems handling PII and credit data.
What you'll do
- Manage AWS serverless security using WAF, IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, and CloudWatch
- Build and enhance automated security tooling and CI/CD pipeline controls
- Develop incident response playbooks and resolve security incidents during on-call rotation
- Analyze alerting workflows and metrics to reduce false positives and improve detection
- Implement SAML SSO and authentication security for online-banking integrations
- Collaborate on automation and detection initiatives to strengthen infrastructure resilience
