Delivery Engineer
About this role
Mixpanel seeks a Delivery Engineer to lead post-sales onboarding and data health for strategic customers, ensuring successful product analytics integration into their tech stacks. You'll combine technical expertise in data architecture with consultative project management to deliver scalable solutions while advising customers on AI workflow integration.
What you'll do
- Own onboarding and data health for high-value clients, managing ongoing enhancements to data quality and tech stack integration
- Consult with prospects and clients to define business goals and metrics guiding data architecture and project outcomes
- Deliver technical services including data architecture design, deployment optimization, and change management best practices
- Execute data governance, optimization, and re-implementation projects while managing timelines and scope
- Advise customers on building and integrating agentic AI workflows with Mixpanel and their data infrastructure
- Serve as technical liaison between customers and Mixpanel product/engineering teams to prioritize implementation tasks

- SQL, dbt, Python, or similar data querying and transformation tools
- Cloud data warehouse platforms (Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure)
- Product analytics implementation (SDKs, CDPs, Event Streaming, Reverse ETL)
- Data architecture and governance design
- Complex project management with multi-stakeholder coordination
- AI/data strategy consultation and MCP server proficiency
- Business communication and analytical thinking
- Customer success or professional services delivery experience
