About this role

Mobius seeks an experienced SQL Developer/Database Administrator to support the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH project team. The role involves managing legacy Microsoft Access databases and SQL Server systems while ensuring cybersecurity compliance in a fast-paced, 100% onsite environment in Newport News, VA.

What you'll do

  • Provide SQL support services and maintain interoperability between legacy and modern data platforms
  • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Access applications and SQL Server databases
  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL database-driven applications with strict data integrity and cybersecurity controls
  • Convert Access SQL to SQL Server syntax and debug VBA code in Access forms
  • Collaborate with Contracting Officers and Planning Managers to evaluate solutions and develop new features
  • Implement software versioning and version control systems while supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
