Structural Analyst Engineer

Momentus is seeking a Structural Analyst Engineer to aid in the mechanical and structural design of spacecraft hardware. The role involves conducting structural analysis and testing, ensuring designs meet performance expectations in space environments.

What you'll do

• Perform structural analysis at unit and system levels
• Recommend improvements to the mechanical design team
• Create structural test specifications for components
• Conduct mechanical testing including vibration and static load tests

• Experience with Femap/Nastran or similar software
• Understanding of structural dynamics
• Knowledge of space environments and its impacts on hardware
• Familiarity with material selection
