About this role

n8n seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed on-site with enterprise customers, designing and building production-grade automation workflows and integrations. You'll drive 5-day deployment engagements, extend n8n capabilities, and funnel customer learnings back to the product team to scale impact across strategic accounts.

What you'll do

  • Lead on-site enterprise deployment engagements (5-day focused sprints) with hypothesis-driven problem solving
  • Design and build production workflows, custom nodes, and integrations tailored to customer environments
  • Identify gaps between customer needs and product capabilities, escalating opportunities to Product and Engineering
  • Contribute reusable patterns, workflows, and custom nodes to an internal playbook library
  • Partner with Deployment Strategists to align technical execution with customer adoption goals and stakeholder priorities
  • Build trust with mixed technical and non-technical audiences by translating complex requirements into actionable solutions
