IT Infrastructure Engineer
About this role
Neros seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to design and manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure for advanced defense systems. You'll own IT operations, automation, and disaster recovery while partnering closely with Security on SIEM, NIST 800-171 compliance, and incident response in a fast-moving startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure using Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS for defense technology platforms
- Partner with Security on SIEM operations, NIST 800-171 compliance, and security tooling integration
- Develop PowerShell automation to reduce operational toil and improve system efficiency
- Architect and maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup solutions across hybrid environments
- Administer virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and SQL Server environments with focus on performance and high availability
- Monitor infrastructure proactively, respond to alerts, and provide L3/L4 technical support for mission-critical systems
