About this role
New Relic seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain a large-scale Kubernetes platform serving global engineering teams. You'll drive infrastructure automation, manage production Kubernetes clusters, and lead incident response while working with modern cloud-native technologies.
What you'll do
- Oversee and enhance Kubernetes infrastructure platform for high availability and performance
- Build custom Kubernetes Operators and evolve internal tooling to reduce manual work
- Manage Day 1 and Day 2 operations for Kubernetes clusters using scaling frameworks
- Partner with engineering teams on production stability and incident response
- Drive platform evolution and automation across global deployment pipelines
- Lead high-severity incident mitigation and resolution
