About this role

Northwood Space seeks an early-career RF & Antenna Systems Engineer to support the development and verification of RF and antenna systems for satellite ground stations. You'll perform measurements, electromagnetic analysis, and RF characterization while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to validate hardware from prototype through deployment.

What you'll do

  • Conduct RF and antenna measurements including gain, radiation patterns, and system sensitivity
  • Analyze antenna performance metrics such as G/T, EIRP, and link margin
  • Develop Python or MATLAB tools for RF data analysis and electromagnetic system modeling
  • Support RF system integration, troubleshooting, and hardware-software interface validation
  • Debug RF performance issues through measurement, data analysis, and experimentation
  • Assist with test-for-production activities including test methodology development and measurement automation
