Software Engineer, AI Capture

About this role

Notion is hiring a Software Engineer to build and expand their AI Meeting Notes product, turning conversations into actionable context and knowledge for teams. You'll own full-stack features from audio capture through summaries and agent-driven workflows, while improving reliability and enterprise capabilities for this fast-growing product.

What you'll do

• Ship end-to-end product experiences across the capture-to-follow-up pipeline with full ownership
• Enhance meeting capture UX with features like speaker identification and intelligent organization
• Improve summary quality, factuality, and citations for downstream agents and users
• Build reliability and observability for realtime pipelines, including SLOs and incident response
• Develop agentic workflows that convert meeting discussions into tasks and organized knowledge
• Deliver enterprise-grade features including permissions, compliance, and scalability

What they're looking for

• 10+ years shipping production software with end-to-end feature ownership
• Full-stack engineering (frontend and backend)
• Production systems operation and debugging
• Product-minded approach with attention to detail and data-driven decisions
• Cross-functional collaboration and execution in ambiguous spaces
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to adopt them
• LLM/applied AI product development (nice to have)
• Media and realtime pipelines experience (nice to have)
