Quality Engineer
About this role
Oklo seeks a Quality Engineer to support technical quality assurance for materials and pressure-retaining components in nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with ASME NQA-1, BPVC codes, and regulatory requirements. The role involves interpreting code requirements, managing material certifications, overseeing supplier quality, and developing quality controls in a highly regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Implement and maintain quality engineering controls per ASME NQA-1, ANSI/ANS-15.8, and ASME BPVC requirements
- Review technical documents and specifications to verify Code, material, testing, and traceability requirements are clearly communicated
- Establish and administer certified material test report (CMTR) program including receipt, review, approval, and discrepancy management
- Analyze test reports, certificates, and objective evidence for completeness, authenticity, and specification compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Certifying Engineer Program with competency and qualification standards
- Provide oversight of special processes and supplier quality for welding, heat treatment, NDE, and fabrication activities
