CNC Programmer 2 - 3rd Shift
About this role
OBE seeks a CNC Programmer 2 for its Newnan, GA facility to create and maintain CNC programs supporting architectural glass and building products manufacturing. This third-shift, full-time role involves program optimization, troubleshooting, and shop floor support within a fast-paced production environment.
What you'll do
- Create, update, and maintain CNC machine programs using fabrication drawings, specifications, and CAD software
- Troubleshoot CNC programs, tooling, and machine performance issues to ensure quality and efficiency
- Assign production orders based on schedules, machine capacity, and workflow priorities
- Monitor tooling inventory and organize program files, setup sheets, and production documentation
- Support shop floor operations including machine setup, operation, and preventative maintenance
- Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining reliable attendance
