Customer Success Engineer (Contract)
About this role
Retell AI seeks a Spanish-speaking Customer Success Engineer on a 1099 contract basis to support enterprise customers in deploying and scaling AI voice agents. You'll bridge technical implementation with customer success, working directly with customer teams to build agents, design integrations, and troubleshoot production issues while gathering feedback to inform product improvements.
What you'll do
- Support technical onboarding and help enterprise customers launch and scale AI voice agents in production
- Build AI voice agents with customers, design conversation flows, and troubleshoot APIs, webhooks, SIP, telephony, and integration issues
- Debug production deployments and work directly in customer codebases when needed to resolve technical problems
- Identify product gaps through customer feedback and translate needs into actionable product improvement recommendations
- Help customers expand adoption by launching new AI use cases and identifying growth opportunities
- Build trusted relationships with customer engineering teams while partnering with Retell's Product and Engineering teams

- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (read, write, speak)
- API and integration troubleshooting (webhooks, REST, authentication)
- Telephony/VoIP fundamentals and SIP protocol knowledge
- Software debugging and problem-solving in production environments
- Technical communication with non-technical and technical stakeholders
- Customer-facing technical consulting and hands-on coding capability
- Experience with voice/telecom systems or similar complex integrations
- AI/ML concepts understanding (agents, conversation design, deployment)
