Cybersecurity Engineer
About this role
OBE is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer in Dallas to design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls across identity, endpoint, email, network, and cloud environments. The role combines hands-on security engineering, security operations, incident response support, and vulnerability management to reduce organizational risk while enabling business objectives.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across identity, endpoint, email, network, cloud, and monitoring systems
- Monitor security alerts and telemetry across IT and OT-adjacent environments; triage events and escalate validated incidents with documentation
- Implement and maintain identity security controls including MFA, privileged access controls, and access monitoring
- Support vulnerability management through scan reviews, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and exposure reduction
- Administer endpoint protection and email security solutions, maintaining policies and configurations
- Coordinate with IT/OT Integration teams to enhance security controls in manufacturing and operational environments while minimizing disruption
