About this role

Translate custom customer requests into manufacturable engineering solutions for architectural glass and building products. Act as the technical bridge between sales, estimating, and production, configuring existing designs to meet specific customer needs while ensuring shop floor feasibility.

What you'll do

  • Manage end-to-end product engineering for assigned product group, from quote to production
  • Provide technical consultation on custom or non-standard quotes and determine viability of requests
  • Create bills of materials, manufacturing methods, and engineering drawings for production teams
  • Develop and recommend solutions when customer requests fall outside standard capabilities
  • Own corrective actions, engineering change notices, and process improvements for your product area
  • Build automation tools connecting ERP systems and streamlining manual processes using scripting
