AI Success Engineer, Government

About this role

OpenAI seeks an AI Success Engineer to serve as the primary post-sales advisor for government customers, guiding them through technical deployment, adoption, and value realization of OpenAI's AI tools. This role combines account management, technical enablement, and strategic advisory to help government organizations implement AI solutions that drive mission impact and organizational transformation.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end customer relationships and account health for high-priority government accounts
• Lead technical deployment, configuration, and setup of OpenAI products including APIs, ChatGPT Enterprise, and agentic platforms
• Design and conduct training programs, workshops, and hackathons to drive adoption across diverse audiences
• Monitor key metrics (DAU, WAU, MAU, activation) and create strategies to increase usage and business impact
• Identify, validate, and guide customers toward high-impact AI use cases aligned with their missions
• Create enablement content including playbooks, guides, demos, and product launch announcements
