About this role
OpenAI seeks an experienced infrastructure transactions lawyer to lead commercial legal strategy for its rapidly expanding infrastructure portfolio. You'll draft and negotiate complex agreements with suppliers, manufacturers, and technology partners while building scalable contracting processes that support AI infrastructure development.
What you'll do
- Own commercial legal strategy and risk management for infrastructure transactions
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on complex agreements with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners
- Support strategic partnerships involving AI infrastructure and hardware supply chains
- Develop procurement, licensing, and collaboration frameworks across the infrastructure ecosystem
- Partner with finance and operations teams to align contract terms with business requirements
- Collaborate on export controls, global supply chain, and manufacturing regulatory issues
