Frontend Engineer, Financial Web Platform

About this role

OpenAI seeks a Frontend Engineer to build and scale billing platforms that power pricing, purchasing, and management of AI products. You'll create reusable UI components, collaborate across teams, and integrate AI-powered features into financial workflows used by product, finance, and go-to-market partners.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable, reusable UI components for diverse billing use cases across products
• Partner with backend engineers to deliver end-to-end billing features including subscriptions and usage-based pricing
• Build tools for Finance, Sales, Support, and GTM teams to manage and analyze billing data
• Develop AI-powered features to automate billing workflows and surface actionable insights
• Define frontend architecture, standards, and patterns for the shared billing platform
• Translate cross-functional requirements from Product, Finance, and GTM into high-quality interfaces
