About this role

Lead mechanical commissioning planning, quality coordination, and test execution for complex facility projects. Ensure mechanical systems are properly installed, inspected, started, and validated to support reliable integrated operations, partnering with contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and electrical stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Develop mechanical commissioning scope, readiness criteria, inspection strategy, and test execution plans
  • Review design packages, specifications, submittals, and controls narratives for commissionability and risk
  • Coordinate QA/QC inspections, installation checks, deficiency capture, and closeout tracking with contractors and vendors
  • Develop and review mechanical commissioning procedures for startup, functional testing, controls verification, and balancing
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors on factory/site acceptance, startup support, and test prerequisites
  • Lead review of test results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and maintain commissioning dashboards for project leadership
