About this role

Build foundational conversion measurement systems for OpenAI's ads platform, designing infrastructure to connect ad interactions to advertiser outcomes while maintaining strict privacy standards. This 0→1 role requires ownership of event collection, attribution, reporting, and feedback loops across a greenfield ads product at global scale.

What you'll do

  • Design and build reliable conversion-event collection and processing systems across pixels, SDKs, server-side APIs, and app integrations
  • Develop attribution and measurement infrastructure for observed and modeled conversions, handling deduplication and signal-loss mitigation
  • Create privacy-preserving identity, matching, aggregation, and reporting systems under strict privacy constraints
  • Build data-quality systems to detect missing, duplicated, malformed, fraudulent, or misconfigured conversion signals
  • Partner with Ads ML to deliver trustworthy conversion labels and feedback loops for optimization
  • Define technical strategy and roadmap for conversion measurement across OpenAI's ads delivery stack
