Software Engineer, Enterprise AI Platform

About this role

Build AI-native internal applications and shared platform infrastructure for OpenAI's enterprise operations. You'll design multi-agent workflows, MCP connectors, data architectures, and governance systems that enable Finance, People, and GTM teams to operate at scale.

What you'll do

• Develop internal applications for enterprise operations across Finance, People, and GTM functions
• Build MCP connectors and enterprise integrations with robust authentication, permissions, and error handling
• Design end-to-end multi-agent workflows including tool routing, approvals, audit trails, and safety boundaries
• Architect data systems for operational AI including ingestion, schemas, quality checks, lineage, and governance
• Create evals, monitoring, metrics, and regression tests for agentic systems
• Build reusable infrastructure and patterns for enterprise teams to build on
