Software Engineer, Full Stack, Revenue Platform
About this role
Join OpenAI's Revenue Platform team as a Full Stack Engineer to design and build the financial infrastructure powering OpenAI's commercial operations. You'll own end-to-end revenue workflows spanning APIs, data models, user interfaces, and platform services that enable billing, payments, and enterprise entitlements at scale.
What you'll do
- Build shared full-stack platform components including APIs, data models, and UI primitives for billing, subscriptions, and usage-based pricing
- Design scalable revenue workflows and abstractions for other product teams to compose and extend
- Deliver end-to-end revenue capabilities in partnership with product, frontend, and backend engineers
- Develop internal tools and platforms for Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to manage revenue data
- Create automation and AI-powered features to reduce manual work and surface insights
- Define architecture standards and contracts for the shared revenue platform balancing flexibility with reliability
