Solutions Engineer, Core Enterprise

About this role

OpenAI seeks a Solutions Engineer to help enterprise customers drive business value from its AI products. You'll work with C-level stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases, design architectures, and guide AI strategy while collaborating with sales, security, and product teams.

What you'll do

• Provide technical pre-sales expertise and answer product, API, and LLM-related questions for enterprise prospects
• Build and present demos, scope use cases, and recommend architectural patterns for customer implementations
• Create documentation, guides, and FAQs addressing common customer questions and requirements
• Develop relationships with customers through evaluation, validation, and purchasing phases
• Gather customer feedback and advocate internally for product improvements and planning
• Handle security and compliance inquiries, escalating complex requirements to specialized teams

• Enterprise pre-sales and solution architecture (8+ years)
• C-level stakeholder management in complex global organizations
• IT security and compliance principles for B2B SaaS
• Programming languages (Python or JavaScript)
• Generative AI/ML prototyping and deployment experience
