Outset Medical seeks a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, and repair the Tablo Hemodialysis System at customer facilities and patient homes across the U.S. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer support, requiring 5+ years of field service experience and knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluidic systems.

What you'll do

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer sites and homes
  • Perform preventative maintenance including calibrations, hardware/software upgrades, and system verification
  • Deliver first and second-level technical support to customers, including after-hours coverage
  • Document all service activities, manage spare inventory, and track parts usage in the ERP system
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert, providing feedback to R&D and supporting cross-functional teams
  • Support marketing and sales at seminars, trade shows, and product demonstrations
