About this role
Owner is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to build and scale foundational data infrastructure supporting analytics, AI, and decision-making across the organization. You'll migrate legacy systems into production-grade dbt pipelines, own the semantic layer for AI systems, and create self-service data capabilities for analysts and engineers.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using dbt, Dagster, and Snowflake
- Migrate existing analytics workflows from Hex into reproducible, production-grade dbt infrastructure
- Build and maintain semantic layers that enable AI systems and teams to query data effectively
- Establish data observability and quality frameworks using tools like Metaplane
- Develop reverse ETL and BI solutions to operationalize data across the organization
- Create self-service data platforms for analysts, engineers, and AI systems
