About this role
Palantir seeks an experienced Information Security Engineer to lead Data Loss Prevention efforts, protecting sensitive data across the organization's global operations. You'll design and maintain advanced detection and prevention systems to counter sophisticated threats, combining deep technical expertise with adversarial thinking about data exfiltration tactics.
What you'll do
- Own and oversee Palantir's global data protection program and DLP strategy
- Design and tune content inspection pipelines and classification policies based on real threat intelligence
- Lead 24/7 prevention, detection, and investigation of data security incidents
- Develop controls to identify and block data exfiltration attempts
- Analyze and respond to sophisticated insider threats and attack patterns
- Evaluate and improve existing security controls against emerging attack vectors
