About this role

PermitFlow is seeking a Design System Engineer to oversee the development and maintenance of its React component library, playing a crucial role in ensuring consistency and quality across its products. You'll collaborate with designers to create production-ready components while managing the component library's roadmap and standards.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development of the React component library
  • Build and document components in accordance with Atomic Design
  • Define standards for API contracts and design tokens
  • Review PRs for quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with designers to translate specs into components
  • Manage visual regression testing and documentation
