About this role
Phantom seeks a Release Management Engineer to own the end-to-end release process for its iOS and Android applications. You'll coordinate releases across engineering, QA, and product teams, manage app store submissions, automate release workflows, and ensure smooth deployments at scale for a top-50 consumer finance app.
What you'll do
- Own the complete release lifecycle for iOS and Android apps, including scheduling, branching, versioning, and app store submissions
- Coordinate release readiness with engineering, QA, product, and support stakeholders; lead go/no-go decisions
- Manage TestFlight, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and handle staged or phased rollouts
- Troubleshoot build, signing, submission, and deployment failures; manage hotfixes and emergency releases
- Automate repetitive release tasks using GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Bash, or Python
- Monitor release health including crashes, regressions, and user-impacting issues; maintain documentation and runbooks
