Quality Engineer

About this role

Pivotal is looking for a Quality Engineer to enhance the quality of their innovative eVTOL aircraft, including the BlackFly and upcoming Helix model. The role requires expertise in composites manufacturing and a commitment to maintaining high standards in compliance and process quality throughout production.

What you'll do

• Ensure product quality from prototype to production
• Oversee compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards
• Conduct inspections and testing of composite materials
• Manage quality processes in manufacturing
• Collaborate with engineering teams on quality improvements
• Drive adherence to aerospace best practices

• Experience in composites manufacturing
• Knowledge of pre-preg composite layup and curing
• Understanding of quality standards (AS9100D, ISO 9001)
