About this role

Varda seeks a Spacecraft Process Engineer to optimize manufacturability and reliability of spacecraft hardware by partnering with design and manufacturing teams.   • Create test, manufacturability, and inspection plans for spacecraft vehicle hardware in collaboration with design and manufacturing teams
  • Manage non-conforming product containment and provide guidance to quality inspectors, technicians, and engineers
  • Lead root cause failure investigations in production, test, and operational environments to improve design and process reliability
  • Conduct critical peer reviews of hardware during design reviews and qualification test campaigns
  • Support quality assurance, flight reliability, and mission assurance functions across the organization
  • Ensure production processes are scaled and controlled to achieve consistent, verified hardware delivery
