About this role
True Anomaly seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to build and qualify a world-class supplier network for flight-grade space hardware. You'll manage the supplier lifecycle—from qualification through continuous improvement—across electronics, PCBA, and power systems, ensuring compliance with aerospace and military standards while driving lean, resilient processes.
What you'll do
- Lead supplier qualification and performance management for electronics, PCBA, cable harnesses, box build assemblies, and power systems
- Execute qualification processes including technical audits, capability assessments, risk evaluations, and first article inspections (FAI) per IPC and MIL-STD standards
- Develop and implement supplier quality programs with scorecards tracking FPY, RTV, OTD, and parametric test yields
- Conduct process, system, and product audits at supplier sites to verify AS9100, IPC, and J-STD compliance
- Bridge internal engineering teams and supplier network to identify improvement opportunities and resolve technical issues
- Support cost, schedule, and quality optimization across the supplier base
