Hardware Validation Engineer
About this role
Join our Hyperscale Line of Business Hardware team as a Hardware Validation Engineer to lead server platform bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting. You'll bridge hardware engineering and customer deployments by performing root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and Linux layers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure reliability.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end platform bring-up and system validation testing across diverse server configurations
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and Linux system layers
- Design and maintain shell scripts and diagnostic tools to automate validation workflows and improve test coverage
- Collaborate with internal hardware, firmware, software, and test development teams on technical roadblocks
- Partner with external customer and partner teams to resolve deployment issues and optimize platform performance
- Document complex diagnostic findings and communicate technical recommendations to engineering teams
