About this role
Lead the qualification and validation of next-generation SSDs from concept through production, architecting test automation frameworks and driving end-to-end quality across firmware, hardware, and storage platform layers. This hands-on technical leadership role bridges firmware engineering, customer requirements, and scalable CI/CD pipelines to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive qualification plans translating customer workloads into validation strategies with clear entry/exit criteria and release sign-off
- Design rigorous test suites for firmware validation across regression, fault injection, and stress scenarios covering NAND, controllers, and PCIe/NVMe protocols
- Build and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable, observable validation
- Isolate and resolve complex multi-layer system failures by analyzing telemetry and debug data, collaborating with firmware teams on fixes
- Establish data pipelines and dashboards tracking health indicators and test results while mentoring team on validation methodologies
- Communicate technical findings and risk assessments to engineering and business stakeholders
