Software Test Engineer

About this role

Realtor.com seeks a Software Test Engineer to ensure quality across web and mobile platforms serving real estate professionals. You'll focus on end-to-end and API testing, build automation frameworks using Playwright and Python, and collaborate with agile teams to validate critical user journeys.

What you'll do

• Design and execute E2E and integration tests using Playwright, focusing on UI correctness and cross-browser compatibility
• Develop API and GraphQL contract validation tests in Python to ensure data integrity
• Write and maintain automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
• Perform hands-on testing for lead applications and support performance testing using k6
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to translate requirements into reliable automated acceptance tests
• Participate in agile processes and help triage failing automated checks to maintain build health
