About this role
Reflect Orbital seeks an aerospace or software engineering intern to contribute to ground software systems for their satellite constellation. You'll own full project lifecycles from design through testing, working hands-on alongside experienced engineers in their Hawthorne headquarters for a minimum 12-week commitment.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and test ground software systems for spacecraft operations
- Build complete tools and testing setups for satellite communication and control
- Prototype and iterate rapidly on novel solutions with minimal guidance
- Contribute to manufacturing and analysis of spacecraft-related components
- Ship completed work and features to support the flying constellation
- Work independently while knowing when to escalate and seek mentorship
