About this role

Retell AI seeks a Software Engineer for its Founders Initiatives team to design and build production-grade AI systems powering hiring, sales, operations, and scaling. You'll work across product, engineering, and AI infrastructure on high-impact internal and external workflows, with exposure to cutting-edge voice AI technology. This is a high-ownership role open to new graduates with strong engineering fundamentals.

What you'll do

  • Build AI systems for resume parsing, candidate scoring, and recruiter workflows
  • Develop security and compliance automation for customer workflows (BAAs, DPAs, contract reviews)
  • Create operational infrastructure tools for finance, onboarding, and manual process reduction
  • Integrate with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and workflow tools (Zapier, n8n, Make)
  • Design LLM-powered systems using OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and similar models
  • Build GTM automation including HubSpot workflows, email personalization, and customer lifecycle systems
