About this role

Retell AI seeks an Internal Deployed Engineer to design and deploy production-grade AI workflows and automation systems that streamline operations across recruiting, finance, sales, and support. This high-ownership role combines applied AI, software engineering, and business operations, working directly with founders on the company's highest-priority initiatives. The position is open to exceptional early-career engineers (0–1 years experience) with demonstrated engineering ability.

What you'll do

  • Build AI systems to extract structured signals from resumes and develop lead scoring models for recruiting
  • Design and deploy AI-powered security and compliance automation including BAA/DPA workflows and questionnaire response generation
  • Create operational infrastructure tools for accounts receivable, finance workflows, and enterprise customer onboarding
  • Integrate and build workflows with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), automation platforms (Zapier, n8n, Make), and LLM APIs
  • Develop GTM automation systems including HubSpot/Lark automations, lifecycle engagement, and personalization tools
  • Own cross-functional projects that reduce manual overhead and improve efficiency across multiple company teams
