Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Software Test & Integration Engineer to enhance the performance and reliability of electric vehicle energy management systems. This role involves designing test cases, diagnosing integration issues, and validating battery management features to ensure safety and efficiency in vehicle architecture.

What you'll do

• Design and document test cases for battery and energy management systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot integration problems.
• Track feature maturity through extensive testing methodologies.
• Analyze diagnostic data from communication systems.
• Test and validate battery management features to meet performance targets.
• Plan and coordinate testing assets and environments.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 2+ years in control systems or battery management
• Experience with automated testing for SIL/HIL
• Embedded software integration and debugging
• Familiarity with communication bus monitoring tools
• Experience with calibration and diagnostics tools
• Understanding of battery operation fundamentals
• Knowledge of energy storage hardware
