Systems Integration Engineer
About this role
Join the Rivian–VW Group joint venture as a Systems Integration Engineer to validate and integrate vehicle behaviors across software, hardware, and diagnostics. You'll work hands-on with cross-functional teams to ensure features perform correctly in real-world environments, from bench testing to vehicle validation, directly impacting product quality and launch readiness.
What you'll do
- Integrate and validate vehicle features across ECUs, software baselines, and hardware releases
- Test power transitions, wake/sleep scenarios, and energy management in bench, HIL, and vehicle environments
- Debug distributed vehicle interactions using logs, network traces, and multi-protocol data (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Collaborate across software, hardware, validation, and manufacturing teams to close integration gaps
- Execute integration test plans covering functional behavior, timing, fault handling, and regression scenarios
- Develop Python scripts and automated workflows to accelerate log analysis and issue triage
