About this role
Robinhood seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and operate scalable infrastructure systems supporting core financial products. You'll own infrastructure components across their full lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure production reliability while mentoring others in a fast-paced fintech environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable, highly available infrastructure systems for core product functionality
- Build and maintain internal platforms, shared services, and tooling for software development and deployment
- Own infrastructure components from requirements through production support and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support business-critical workloads and system integrations
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis for production stability
