Software Engineer

About this role

Robinhood seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and operate scalable infrastructure systems that power core financial products and internal platforms. You'll own systems across their full lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive reliability and performance improvements in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and operate scalable infrastructure systems supporting core product functionality
• Build and evolve internal platforms, shared services, and tooling for reliable software development and deployment
• Own infrastructure components from requirements through production support and continuous improvement
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis for production systems
• Improve system reliability, performance, and observability by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices
• Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and operational standards
