Software Engineer

About this role

Robinhood seeks a Software Engineer to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for mobile and web financial applications. You'll perform manual and automated testing, develop test automation frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality user experiences in the fintech space.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and strategies for iOS/Android mobile and web applications
• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using tools like Appium, Selenium, or Playwright
• Perform manual, regression, functional, and exploratory testing to validate product features
• Test API integrations between frontend applications and backend services
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle
