About this role
Robinhood seeks a backend Software Engineer to build secure, scalable services for the Robinhood Wallet product, which enables users to custody and manage digital assets on DeFi protocols and Robinhood Chain. You'll design high-performance systems supporting cryptocurrency trading and tokenized assets while collaborating across engineering and product teams.
What you'll do
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services powering Robinhood Wallet
- Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting strict correctness and scalability requirements
- Identify and implement system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction improvements
- Collaborate with client teams, product managers, designers, and external vendors on technical solutions
- Own backend services and infrastructure supporting crypto and tokenized asset trading
- Maintain high-quality codebases and guide key technical decisions
